MMSE

I was asked to give one of our patients a mini-mental status exam (MMSE) today because her daughter had been complaining that she thought her mother was losing her memory. Just to get a baseline, I guess.

When it came time for the section where I asked her to write down a complete sentence with a subject and a verb, she wrote the above.
How can I not give you a 30/30 on your MMSE, ma'am?! Flattery will get you everything in this business!

Just kidding. But she was perfectly intact mentally anyway.
