Swan on the water

Saw lots of swans on the Ship Canal today - this one is the Mute Swan (Cygnus olor), a year round resident in England although numbers increase in winter. Bewick's Swans (Cygnus columbianus) are regular winter visitors in some parts of the country and Whooper Swans (Cygnus cygnus) are rarer winter visitors.
