Concrete reminder

Matt brought me back a chunk of the Wall as a present from his trip to Berlin.

Growing up, it seemed a permanent feature, something that would always be there. Strange to think that it came down before Matt was even born.

(while in no way casting doubt on its authenticity, Matt pointed out that there were a lot of building sites with rubble in the city. And a lot of walls in Berlin)
