An almost birthday

Baby Briggs almost decided to arrive on my blip
Birthday. A long walk this morning found me stumbling home to call the midwife who got everything ready for what we thought was an imminent labour. Jacob spent the day with his grandparents. Stephan got straight on a plane home from London. Henny sniffed all the equipment and went to sleep.
Then a delivery man appeared, a neighbour popped by, and everything just stopped.
I did some washing, baked some biscuits and had a nap. Stephan got home so we walked, talked, bought red wine and ordered curry. Now time to cross our fingers and wait.
