A sky with intent
Following a rather hectic walk with the dogs today - they both decided that exploring fresh rabbit warrens was far more interesting than following me! - I drove to Pitlochry this afternoon to a preview of a new exhibition in the relatively new John Muir Wildtrust Space. The artist exhibiting was the watercolourist David Bellamy, whose workshop I had attended this time last year in Wales, and so I was keen to see his new paintings of wild landscapes and to meet up with him again. It was my first visit to the John Muir Visitor's Centre and I will definitely go back there again as there looks to be lots of interesting information in the form of books, photographs etc. The exhibition runs until 18th June and I do recommend a visit if you are near enough.
On my way home through the Sma' Glen I noticed that the sky was indicating a change in the weather as a front was definitely moving in from the north. I thought it made for an exciting photo so managed to stop the car safely on the side of the road just long enough to catch this quick shot.
Do you find that sometimes situations occur in a day, or you say something thoughtlessly in a moment and you just wish you could turn the time back? Unfortunately time is like a cloud, always moving on but never recoverable.
