Old and new Paris

Side-by-side, the classical Hausmannien architecture reflected in the modern facade of the "Paris Arc de Triomphe Hotel" in the Avenue de Wagram.

Even if the glass facade of the hotel is fascinating, in my view does not really fit with the buildings around. But then again, who can prevent that future architects do what Hausmann did some 150 years ago ? Who wants to live in a open air museum forever ?
