Speckled Wood.
Work on the kitchen starts tomorrow and still so much to move. Lovely weather which makes things easier for carrying things out to the shed to store. Last things left on floor to be moved once the old work units are moved to the shed.
During a breather I wondered round the garden. The 2 mini slowworms are still in their hidey holes and I found Mrs Stumpy slowworm in one of the compost bins. ( we think she’s a she cause she gets quite rotund at times and often we find the babies a little while after and stumpy because she’s lost her tail) The blue tits are still popping in and out of the box. Then a speckled wood butterfly came in, several had flitted through the garden but this one settled on a yellow tulip.
