chilling

I'm taking a bit of time off this week. First of all I'm playing host to Dr D from Gaimersheim as she gets some much needed R&R. Secondly, all of a sudden some spring weather popped up.

So today we went out east as far as Crail - east of that is Denmark. Beautiful weather. Beautiful places. We had a picnic lunch on a wee deserted beach near Pittenweem, and I got a sunburn.

I also got a shot of the Isle of May, way out where the Firth of Forth meets the North Sea. I took a boat trip over there a few years ago, and it is highly recommended. Seals, puffins, all kinds of other sea birds.

You need to have decent sea legs even on a calm day. Dr D wouldn't last 10 minutes....
