Fear the Lord

In the centre of Chester is this striking medieval-style timber house by W. H. Kelly, built as recently as 1881, which bears the legend, "The Fear of the Lord is a Fountain of Life", said to be the inscription on an ancient coin found on the site. Less romantically, the building currently houses a dental surgery. The quote on the house is from Proverbs 14:27. Good to see the Bible so openly displayed.
