Lynne Mum and I . . .

. . . 45 years on !! how did that happen?

You know how old people always say (read in an old people voice) " it seems like only yesterday"?

Well, it seems like only yesterday that Mum Dad Lynne & I stayed here, for 6 consecutive years! Its where we met the Roberts, and created so many holiday stories that we reminisce on every time we get together!! Lots of water under the bridge since then to be fair, losing Dad, children springing up all over? All part of the rich tapestry I suppose.

Shaun called in again this evening, typical, don't see him for 10 years then cant get rid of him! But its always like we saw him just last week.

Had a lovely day in Barmouth, dogs running round the dog friendly beach, the boys jumping off sand dunes (just realised I didn't even think of joining in!? now that is worrying)

Fish & chips on the sea front, blowing a pound on the 2p penny fall and another on the grabber machine (that was particularly pathetic, not even a hint of grabbing!) all good fun.

Its not my birthday anymore . . . nobody will fetch me anything!!!
