Cockermouth is Open

Poor Mayo is stuck in the middle of the road works.
I had a walk round town last night to see how they are getting on with the new drainage they are putting into the Main Street.
The road is closed at the moment (until June) but the pavements are ok and the shops are open for business.
The good news is that some of the car parks have been made free for the duration of the work to try and attract people to visit our little market town on the edge of the Lake District.
