Dutch Trance

Last day in Amsterdam today. Wanted to go to the Van Gogh museum, but couldn't face the queues, so had another wander around the streets, a late lunch and are now at the airport, looking forward to being home.

Despite, or maybe thanks to all the walking, my legs have recovered quite well. Maybe will venture out for a little run tomorrow. Mentally, it is going to take a little while longer to recover I think. Lots of photos of me on the website. Fortunately, not any when I was walking.

Forgot to mention, interesting fact: the houses are so narrow because tax used to be paid on the width of the houses. Hence they were narrow, but deep. So now you know.
