Ed Koch for Major

There are two bits of graffiti that catch my eye as I cycle through the tunnel near Colinton Conservation Village on the way to and from work. One is 'Ed Koch for Major', the other is 'Be Yourself'.

Neither seems like typical graffiti to me. (I'm no expert). But 'Ed Koch for Major' seems just that bit more remarkable.
