Waterside Stopover

Despite heavy traffic the journey down went smoothly with a diversion via Cambridge to pick up eldest son Stephen. The slowest part of the journey being across country on the A14.

Our stop over is in Gloucester by the Quayside. Having booked in Stephen and I went for a wander whilst Richard made a welcome brew. Found the Helly Hansen outlet was having a closing down sale. So now possess a few extra layers in case there is a sudden down turn in temperatures at the JK!

After a meal on the Quayside went for a wander round the waterfront. Interesting contrast between the areas which have been renovated and those still derelict.
