The (not so) slippery slope

I climbed excitedly to the top of the platform, edged my way onto the lip of the slide, counted to three before letting go and ... ... nothing. Oh well, the slide may not have lived up to its name but it was great fun having a family trip to the park with Gran and Uncle N there too!
