Not one but two

Another stop a the artificial island this afternoon on my way home after work. I stayed longer than I should have but eventually got a glimpse inside the Coot and the swan nests. None of their eggs seem to have hatched yet.

While I was waiting, I spotted the pair of Great Crested Grebes who have nested at the island in the distance with all 5 of their chicks still doing well.

Cormorants have put in an appearance at the island before as well but it has always been just the one. This time though two of them were there. I still don't know how I managed to get both of them in the same shot with one in focus as well.
