Bluebells in the Woodland Trust, Hucking

A morning's walk with Barbara, David and Susan to the Woodland Trust to see the famed bluebells and other spring flowers which were there in abundance. A warm day but without the bright spring sunshine of the past few days which would have brought out the colours more vividly than they are here.

The wood carvings as shown here, from our visit last week, presented lots of opportnities for frivolity which I may upload and show.

A late lunch was followed by a brief afternoon snooze (apparently bad for you according to the newspaper - shortens your life) then got ready to go to the evening reception of a wedding.

Very pleasant to be invited to Jason and Lizzy's wedding as I've known Jason some 12 years or more since he joined us as a trainee ICT technician in Greenwich as a young lad just out of school who quit his job as a shelf stacker in Sainsbury's to take his chances with the ICT team. And what a good move it was for him and us. Very proud of his achievements both in the time he was with us and since and now married and setting off on the next stage of his life. Well done Jason and congratulations to the both of you.
