Certified

We went to Paul's certificate evening at his old college so that he could be presented with his A Level certificates from last summer. This is him waiting to go up to get them. There were over 300 students present, so that was a lot of clapping to do! We also had to wait through speeches from the Principal, Chair of Governors, Student Union President, and some guy who had something to do with education funding. We also had to clap the myriad special awards that were presented. Boy, did it go on a long while! In the end, we didn't get home until about 10.15, by which time the evening had nearly gone and I just had to time to watch the weather forecast for tomorrow (not as bad as it was originally suggested) (I hope!) and do a bit of wrapping. Only a week now till Christmas, but I still don't feel very excited - I just keep thinking of all the things that I have got to do before next week - omg!
