Assycombe Hill

Normally the colours of the moorland landscape are soft and muted but in the right light, like this morning, the low sun seemed to burnish this grass to a golden colour.

This was taken from Stattes Bridge on the B3212 road looking towards Assycombe Hill (497m) and Fernwothy Forest, the dark crescent of trees on the horizon.
