Washington...

... DC, not Tyne & Wear!

Started at Heathrow Terminal 5, with a civilised lunch at Gordon Ramsay's 'Plane Food', a mooch around the shops (of which there are many), before boarding our BA (grrrr) flight to the US capital - 4 days of sightseeing and shopping await.

Flight went well, cab to our (great) boutiquey hotel, steak and chips in a nearby bistro, and now in bed ready for a good night's sleep, before we hit the town tomorrow.

First stop? Well the White House of course - we're going in tomorrow morning. Excited? You bet!!!
