Little Gifts

A small gift can really go a long way. I was having a terrible day to the end of a very long week, and I think it was even apparent to my students that I was under a lot of stress at the moment. One of them, came in this morning and gave me this clever jar of jelly beans, thanking me for "bean" my teacher. Then at lunch today, another one of my students came up to me and handed me his Reese's Peanut Butter Cup saying, "Ms. Chase, you need this more than I do." I am very blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful children. A little gift to show you care, no matter how small, can really make someone's day.
