Feathers

Went to Canterbury this morning and popped in to the Beaney to see the Kate Mccgwire exhibition. It was absolutely stunning. She seems to work mainly with feathers, and there were some seriously beautiful pieces on display. I couldn't resist taking a sneaky photo, although this really doesn't do it justice.

Most of the pieces are a lot smaller, in antique glass domes. The colours of the feathers are beautiful, particularly the magpie and mallard.

Other than that, spent a fortune on some new make-up!
