Good Friday:
I have not been able to keep up to date with my blips at the moment and I didn't actually get to the devotional service this morning but Cc knew I had wanted this photo taken for today's blip.
So, after she had been on her own photographic trip she called and collected me and took me down to my local church where this statue is sited on the west wall close to a window. My feeling is, because he is looking out of the window, it beautifully represents his interest in the world.
It is by a Brazilian sculptor, a resident of Cumbria, Josefino Vasconcellos.
The credence table and books are not normally here but of course represent this morning's service.
