"Bewdley (Beau Lieu)"
Bewdley originally got its name from the French Beau Lieu (beautiful place) in, I believe, the 14th Century. This small town on the River Severn in Worcestershire has been my adopted home since early 2007 on moving back to the UK from Spain. It's a lovely area: right in the rural heart of England but only 40 or 50 minutes away from a city by train (Birmingham).
This image was taken on Good Friday 2014, at the start of the Easter break, and today the town was brimming, with visitors and residents alike, all taking advantage of the spring sunshine.
