Good Friday arrives. The cross in the peninsula church, made from previous year's Christmas tree cut down and crossed (you see what we did there?). The sanctuary is bare, the church empty. The nave (you can see why it's derived from the Latin for 'boat') will wait for what might happen this weekend...
