Collared Doves

These two have been sitting around sunbathing and `canoodling' for much of the day - they couldn't even be bothered to move when anyone went out of the front door.
I've been coughing and spluttering for most of the day but I have felt better than yesterday. I've managed a little more organising of all my older printmaking stuff - drawings and test prints and things and then I sat out in the sun later in the afternoon with a longish lens and waited for the birds to arrive. The male pheasant made two show stopping appearances but there was too much foliage in the way and he was too quick for me to get a decent image.
