Flood barrier

This is the flood barrier on the River Foss which is just upstream of where it joins the River Ouse. The blue bridge beyond the barrier is a footbridge and cycleway which cross the Foss where it joins the Ouse.

I had enjoyed an early evening walk on the river bank and through a local park. I took several other pictures which can be seen here.
