Family of three

We embraced the beautiful bank holiday weather and spent the day doing all of Jacobs favourite things while we can still give him our undivided attention.
I baked tomato and chorizo muffins and put together a picnic while Stephan and Jacob walked Henny, then it was up to Princes Street Gardens to enjoy it in the sun. We bought ice creams and watched the trains coming and going at Waverley. We sat on steps and watched and clapped along to the most amazing "pipe man". Jacob was enthralled. When Stephan put his arm around me while Jacob danced I have to admit I cried with happiness. Sitting in the sunshine, thinking about our family growing, it was a perfect moment.
