Good Friday

There are several theories (according to google) as to the origins of hot cross buns and their significance but they are generally seen as a reminder of the cross of The Lord Jesus Christ whose death (and resurrection) is remembered by Christians all over the world, all through the year, but especially on Good Friday.

Mark 15 vs 38 - 'And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, heard His cry and saw how he died, he said, "Surely this man was the Son of God" '
