Took bus to Saughton Park Gardens, closed!

Walked down the Water of Leith, saw a heron and about too pic when someone stopped to see what I was looking at and it flew away back up river!

One of those days.

The thrush here, I was trying to pic, it was getting closer and closer along with its pal when two really noisy chatty runners scared them away ARGH!

So one of them here which I couldn't hide from and it just looked, so I stood as still as I could, although I do tend to talk to them, no idea if that helps.

Too busy for me I think I'll have to get up too early to get the wildlife minus the noisy people.

Did see a wood pigeon taking a bath the the river.

Beautiful day, lots of blue sky and still, too many layers, jumper in bag, and no peace, until I could sit down and switch off the people and listen / watch the birds.

2 buses home.

Oh, and yesterday's Tunnock's Caramel Log was hiding inbetween a set of closed ladders, so not all lost. :-)
