Work on the bridge at a standstill

Work on renovating the bridge on the promenade in La Marsa has come to a standstill as there's a local disagreement on whether to widen the original bridge and the road or to keep the original size of the bridge. Apparently there's a campaign to get the work restarted before the tourism season begins but as very few tourists come to La Marsa and most of the foreign tourists go to other destinations there's probably no need to worry! Anyway the dismantled bridge certainly looks a bit of a mess!
