First of all can I say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who commented on, starred and favourited my 100th blip of the heron. I was overwhelmed with the generosity of the comments and amazed that it made the spotlight. I don't really understand how one gets to be spotlighted but I do know it wouldn't have happened without all your wonderful comments and stars, so a very big thank you to you all.
During the last 100 days I've come to realise just what a supportive, friendly community Blip world is and I feel my photographic skills have begun to improve thanks to the helpful advice and positive comments I've received. This really is a fantastic community and I feel so thankful to be a part of it. :-).

Today was a busy day so I didn't have much time to look for a blip. However, I did come across this interesting fungus during my walk this afternoon. Not as spectacular as the heron, I know, but I thought it merited a blip.
