Easter chicks

I've been knitting lots of these this year to give to family and friends over Easter. The knitting is fairly straight forward and fortunately my knitting seems to be a similar gauge to the pattern as the Creme Eggs fit really well, but the finishing stages are the difficult bits. I bought some new eyes which are a little better than the ones I've used before but still very difficult to apply, though they look much better than when I try to add eyes using some black thread - I always seem to make angry looking eyes! The orange felt beaks aren't too bad, though I didn't have thread which wouldn't show so I've had to use a yellow thread.
