In a different light

While in work this morning my friend called to ask did my son want to come and play with her boys this afternoon, and would I like her to collect him from school? Well, after a nanosecond of guilt about 'abandoning' him on his last day of term, I gladly said yes!
So where did I end up on my unexpected afternoon of freedom?
ToysRUs, frantically trying to even out the presents stakes between the two boys.
After an interminable time trying to work out which remote controlled piece of flying plastic was least likely to disintegrate at the first outing to the park, and parting with an inordinate amount of cash, I retreated to IKEA for a coffee.
The sun was at the blindingly bright phase of setting and, reflected on the building, made it look gold instead of blue and yellow.

Edit Just noticed even the outside of the building has downlighters!
