Autumn leaves

This image was going to be something it has turned out not to be. Ah well - I live and learn.

In order to get the leaves flat I squished them under a pane of glass. Unfortunately, that glass has dulled the image in a lot of ways :( Lucky for me there are still thousands of Autumn leaves still out there waiting to be gathered and photogrphed ;)

A little bit of sun today - felt nice. Did some marking (oh how I loathe marking......sitting still for hours on end deciphering 30 different versions of the same thing and deciding which ones are 'good enough' and which one's aren't) - will do more tomorrow and spend some much needed time in the garden. Now that's definitely someting to look forward to.
