What a Day!

A second beautiful day. Shaping up to being a great Easter Weekend. Took my camera out for a walk and got some great shots. I'll have to learn how to do those collages. I wanted to show you around the place where I live. Although it is a built up area we do have plenty of scenic relief. This is the Grand Canal which is only ten minutes walk from my house. It is a popular recreational area along its entire length, from Dublin Bay in the east to the Shannon river in the west. A bit underpopulated when I took this shot, it's normally full of dog walkers , joggers, cyclists, and people just chatting and chilling out. It's a lovely spot if you disregard the accumulated rubbish, note the bicycle frame bottom left.
