Pavilion

Just as you drive into Brighton, you see this sports pavilion on the right-hand side - I don't suppose more than a handful of the thousands of motorists who gridlock our city every day notice it. It's quite nostalgic for me - as a small boy I remember trips down to Brighton from London to visit the man we thought of as Grandad (he wasn't and it's a long and complicated story) in Withdean, and sight of this pavilion was the signal that we were nearly there.
