A National Trust day

We had a superb day out today with two good friends visiting a couple of a National Trust properties in Warwickshire. Firstly we went to Charlcotte Park - a beautiful old house built in the 1500's owned by the Lucy family, set in lovely parkland which were designed by Capability Brown.
We then drove to Baddesley Clinton, another Tudor house surrounded by a moat which is just so photogenic. Of particular interest were the 'priest holes' to hide the Catholic priests when they were being persecuted.
Two spectacular properties visited which some great friends made a lovely day out.
