The Vyne

Making the most of the sunshine today, given the weather forecast's chequered outlook for Sun & Mon.

Spent today at The Vyne near Basingstoke, hadn't been there before and quite enjoyed exploring the grounds, lovely kitchen garden, lake & great little adventure playground. We managed to have lunch outside despite the Easter queues for the cafe and then C loved playing in the tunnels and on the big slide in the playground.

We decided to join up and get a family membership to the National Trust for a year as we were leaving, haven't ever joined before but thought we'll give it a go and see how much we use it and whether it's any good. Should be nice over the summer anyhow.
