The Lone Rose, Aylesford

Day 105 of 365. This is a very poignant image for me as this lone rose was placed on a bench in the graveyard where my mum is buried. It was such touching sight and just really brings home to me the importance of flowers to many people who have lost loved ones. We go down to visit my mum every Sunday to bring her new flowers. She loved vibrant colours so we always try to find the most colourful flowers we can and mix them all together - in the early spring sunshine they always look beautiful and hope they are a fitting tribute to our lovely, much missed mum.
