Deceptive appearance

In the blip this tyre looks like any other.

Unfortunately it has a slow puncture and I'm therefore having to inflate it throughout the day.

The easy answer, of course, would be to change the wheel and get the tyre repaired.

But that's the problem......

When the car was serviced they put the nuts on so tightly they won't move.
The alloy wheel key may be damaged which will cost around £100 to sort.

Now the good news.
The incompetence of the garage meant I met Steph.
She runs an ice cream kiosk in St Anne's. She also has an excellent tyre inflator.
Just as well or the car would still be there.

Steph's kindness got me enough in the tyre to get me home safely.

This meant I could call the RAC to see if they could resolve the problem.
Having been told it would be an hour I was delighted when Dave arrived in only 20 minutes.

I am most grateful to these two wonderful people, even though the car will have to go back to the garage to get sorted out on Tuesday.

Tomorrow I shall buy an ice cream at Steph's kiosk. If she will allow me, I may even blip her.
