Egg Hunt

We went on an egg hunt with some Home Ed friends today. I was worried about the weather as it was so gusty Chickpea said it would surely blow all the eggs away. Yet when we walked into the walled garden it was perfectly sheltered and lovely and I didn't even notice the wind again until we left. The children all really enjoyed it! They had to find eggs with their coloured stickers so everyone got the same amount. It worked really well and I think it was even more fun for them looking for their sticker, they got to find a lot more eggs as well, but just didn't get to keep them all. After the hunt there was a lot of wandering around and enjoying the garden in the sun with grandpa and friends. Lovely day!
