Depend

One of the things i've noticed since moving back up to Aberdeenshire is how quiet the neighbourhood my parents live in is. When living in Edinburgh, i used to always wake up the sound of construction vehicles moving about and general hammering and banging away from my next door neighbour.

Now, one of my new neighbours up here is banging away, only this time he is renovating a building rather than the construction of a new building. There are alot of old properties like this on the market all over the UK needing a bit of TLC and investment. Converting an old property into something modern and livable can be quite a fun thing to do i imagine.

As seen here, the roof is being removed as i type. He kinda needs to depend on the old old structure of this building if he is to complete this job safely. The interior of the building can't be that bad inside if he is happy sitting there pulling apart the roof of this old steading.
