A New Experience for Basil

Basil and I motored for 6 hours, all told, up the M6, in Murphy the campervan to spend 3 nights at the Eskdale camping ground in the western part of the Lake District.

Here Basil waits patiently while chaos reigns all around. But eventually, with the help of a fellow camper, I did get the bed down and Basil slept on one corner while I stretched out.

It was the night of the red full moon. I was too tired to try and get a photo.
