The One and Only

I am thrilled with this Blip. One of the five asparagus corms I planted is alive and 'kicking' despite my being convinced I had accidentally uprooted them.
This is the beginning of a three year project. It is the first of the asparagus tips to poke it's head above ground. I can't cut and eat it because you cannot crop the corms for three years or they will not produce. So I sit looking at it, thinking of Hollandaise sauce and wishing my life away.
