Abercrombie River National Park

I drove to Leura to see my folks today. I took the long back road to avoid the boredom of the Hume Highway and had a very pleasant drive via Gunning, Crookwell, Taralga and Oberon. I saw a lovely red-brown wallaby, an echidna, and an enormous Wedge-Tail eagle with a wing span of about 2 meters. The only animals you see on the main highway are squashed all over the road unfortunately.
I stopped off at this National Park for a cuppa and took a quick, fuzzy (low light) snap of the river. Lots of people free camping here for the Easter break. It's a lovely spot and I wouldn't mind camping here when no one else is around.
Happy Easter everyone!
