Georgia On My Mind

The deYoung Museum did not allow photography in the Georgia O'Keefe exhibit, but they did have this image outside. Today when we played the Name Your Favorite Painting in Each Room game, it was impossible to pick just one. Trees, fruit, flowers, landscapes, and photos of the artist herself--such amazing work, such a beautiful woman.

A day filled with art, good food and leisurely walks through interesting neighborhoods...there is always something to catch the eye, some undiscovered alley, a new shop, a stunning paint job on an old Victorian gingerbread house.
