The show must go on

The last night of little H's first show. We have all been breathing this show for weeks now- rehearsals, kit, tickets, photos. She seems so tiny on stage, obviously especially compared to some of the teenagers en pointe. And so grown up off stage, trotting into the theatre without a look back, discussing what she wants in her snack box and hugging other cast members who leap on her if they see her in the street / car park each day. The hairstyle makes them easy to spot. She has enjoyed this so much - I think this is what our Easter holidays will consist of for some time to come. Thank goodness for the joy of Easter (chocolate!) to follow. And the DVD of the show to watch. And sleep- lots of sleep after these late nights...
