Clay Cliffs

These eroded mudstone cliffs are near Omarama, in South Canterbury, New Zealand. They are some of very few New Zealand outcrops that are reminiscent of landscapes of the American South-West. A group from our photographic society spent the Easter weekend at Otamatata, and today the weather improved dramatically after two days of light rain and drizzle.
