Easter Sunday

Happy Easter to everyone! A soft gentle rain for Easter Sunday, no sunshine and we are indoors relaxing at home.

This is the first Easter I have not bought chocolate eggs - to be fair the boys never end up eating the pile of eggs they get on Easter Sunday, so this year they have rather been drip fed cream eggs and mini eggs over the days preceding Easter. I have a delicious leg of lamb roasting in the over, studded with rosemary and garlic, and roast potatoes, roasted parsnips, carrots and broccoli in cheese sauce to accompany it.

I saw this photography technique in a magazine and decided to try it - I took some photos yesterday in the sunshine, but that was yesterday so had to repeat it again today, and here we have Gavin dreaming of sunny, spring days. The boys thought daisies most inappropriate and said I should rather have done a layer of sailing boats, as that is what Gavin dreams about when he thinks of summer.
